SPOKANE, Wash. — The Spokatopia Outdoor Adventure Festival is bringing biking, boating, live music and more to Spokane beginning at 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The festival at Camp Sekani is free and open to the public, but some of the adventures come at an additional cost.
This year, overnight camping will be available at Spokatopia. Festival leaders have also worked to expand their inclusivity efforts for attendees with disabilities.
Last year, Spokane Parks and Recreation worked with Spokatopia to incorporate a few equipment adaptations throughout the weekend. This year, they are expanding the amount of people they can help with new equipment and training for different sports.
This is the fifth year of Spokatopia and the first time the event will span two days instead of just one.
Attendees can expect an array of events throughout the weekend, including clinics, paddle board races, food trucks, live music and more.
There are different levels of demo passes that will give attendees access to demos and clinics.
Information about pricing and scheduling is on the Spokatopia website.
