YAKIMA, Wash. – Some local high school athletes headed over to Yakima on Saturday to participate in the Earl Barden East-West All Star Classic and helped lead their team to a shutout victory.

Idaho Vandal commits Tevin Duke from West Valley High School, Ty Graham from Cheney High School, and Dylan Beeler from Clarkston High School joined Hunter Sisemore, also from Clarkston High School, to represent the East. All four players played in the Great Northern League, or GNL.

The East won the game 25-0 after the defense forced eight turnovers – including six in the second half. On the opening kickoff, the West fumbled and Duke recovered. Graham scored first for the East in the second quarter, scoring from 2-yards out. Duke was voted Most Inspirational Player by his East squad teammates.

The West team only managed nine first downs, with three of those coming via penalty.
