SPOKANE, Wash. — Gonzaga men's basketball came in to Saturday  holding on to a one seed.

Then Tennesee beat Kentucky in the Southeastern Conference Tournament  and it has caused some more chaos in what team will be what seed.

As a result, things are not breaking in Gonzaga's favor right now. A two seed kind of seems more likely at this point for the Bulldogs.

I dont think there is any scenario where Duke or Virginia falls off to a two seed.

So Gonzaga, North Carolina  and Tennessee are likely fighting for the final one seeds. Michigan State is not making this list even if they win the Big Ten Tournament title because they lost to Indiana twice and Illinois.

Gonzaga lost to both North Carolina and Tennessee this season.

That really doesn't help, but it's even more than head to head.

Bracketologists and Bracketeers bumped North Carolina off the one seed line after a close loss to Duke on Friday.

It came down to the final seconds, and even in a loss, to me it secured them as a lock for a one seed too because Duke is going to be the overall number one seed.

But in head to head, taking a look at quadrant one wins, the Tar Heels have won more and played more.

Gonzaga does top them in the NET rankings.

But all in all, it's just not an argument Gonzaga is going to win, especially because when these two teams played, it wasn't a  very close game.

Now against Tennessee, there is still hope because there is still the possibility the Vols could lose their game tomorrow against Auburn in the SEC Tournament championship game.

If they do, that makes it more of a debate. If Tennessee wins though, they have to be a one seed.

One thing is for sure among all the chaos, Selection Sunday will clarify everything on Sunday at 3 p.m.
