No. 1 Zags take on No. 4 Florida State in the Sweet 16

This is the Zags' fifth straight season making it this far in the tournament. The Zags will now go on to face familiar opponent four-seed Florida State, who defeated the Zags in last season's Sweet 16.

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah — The Zags are playing in The Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament after their win against nine-seed Baylor in Salt Lake City.

This is the Zags' fifth straight season making it this far in the tournament.

A key player in Sunday's game against Baylor: senior forward Brandon Clarke. He had five blocks and 36 points - that has only ever been done by two other people, including Shaquille O'Neal. He also shot 15-of-18 from the floor.

Another VIP in the game was sophomore forward Corey Kispert. Mark Few said during a press conference Saturday that Kispert was the Most Valuable Zag against the Baylor Bears.

"Corey Kispert was out player of the game, which is - the things we asked him to do, rebounding-wise, in defense and then to step up to make those big shots was huge," Few said.

The Zags face familiar opponent four-seed Florida State, who defeated the the team in last season's Sweet 16.

The two teams face off in Anaheim, California on Thursday at 4:09 p.m. Fans can catch the game on KREM 2.
