The Washington Huskies and Washington State Cougars are back-to-back in both college polls headed into next Saturday's Apple Cup.
The Huskies (9-2 overall, 6-2 in Pac-12) scored 10 points in the final minute Saturday to come from behind at home and beat Utah (5-6, 2-6) 33-30.
The Cougars (9-2, 6-2) had their bye week.
UW is now No. 14 in the USA TODAY poll and No. 15 in the Associated Press poll.
WSU is the opposite -- No. 14 in the AP poll and No. 15 in the USA TODAY poll.
The College Football Playoff poll comes out Tuesday. The Cougars were No. 14 and Huskies were No. 18 last week, but neither is going to make up the ground to be one of the four teams to play in the CFP.
The Cougars can advance to the Pac-12 Championship against USC with a win in the Apple Cup. The Huskies have been eliminated from Pac-12 Championship contention but can keep the Cougars out by beating them next Saturday at Husky Stadium.
