Apple Cup brings friendly wager between school presidents

Sounds like a pretty good deal.

SPOKANE, Wash.—The presidents of Washington State University and the University of Washington made a friendly wager on the 2017 Apple Cup.

WSU president Kirk Schulz tweeted that if the Cougs win he gets chocolate from UW president Ana Mari Cauce.

Schulz said that if the Huskies walk away with the win then he owed Cauce some Cougar Gold.

Schulz raised the stakes by tweeting that the president of the losing team has to post a photo of themselves wearing the winning school’s colors.
