COLBERT, Wash. – A Colbert woman said she has always dreamed of having the opportunity to snag tickets to the World Series.

The 101-year-old Cubs fan, Catherine Childs, went to her first Cubs game in 1925. Through it all, she was there for some of the most iconic moments in Cubs history.

Childs even gave birth to her first son during the 1945 World Series. She later took her 94-year-old father to his last Cubs game.

Childs said she wants the golden ticket to the World Series, but the problem is that it costs $22,720.

No matter what, Childs refuses to miss a game. She watches every game from her home.

After 101 years, Childs’ wish is to be a part of the game that has been a part of her family’s history for more than a century.
