Spokane Brewers Festival
Time for a second round! The 2nd annual Spokane Brewers Festival is back and filled with cheer. 40+ brewers will be set up. The entire event benefits Feeding Washington, the statewide hunger relief organization. Tickets are $30 and get you in for the entire weekend.
Martin Woldson Theater at The Fox
She’s won Grammys, she has an incredible voice and for one night only, you can experience Melissa Etheridge. Her last album was released in October and received stellar reviews. Experience it live! Doors open at 7:00pm, show starts at 8:00pm. Tickets range in price from $45-$85.
International Cake Exploration Societe
Spokane Convention Center
Love cakes? This event’s got ‘em! The convention features hundreds of elaborate cakes by decorators from around the world. Wander the Sugar Art Gallery and watch sweet demos by celebrity cake artists. The event has been going on all week, but Saturday & Sunday are open to the public. It’s not free. Adults are $10, children are $5.
For more than 100 years, well before Hillyard was part of Spokane, proud residents have been coming together to celebrate their unique community. With a car show, parade, kids activities, live music and even a fireworks show, this neighborhood is worth celebrating.
