SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Public Schools named Dr. Adam Swinyard as the new superintendent on Saturday.
This comes after Spokane Public Schools district announced on Tuesday night that Superintendent Shelley Redinger is leaving the district after eight years to serve in the same role in the Richland School District.
Swinyard previously served as The Associate Superintendent for Teaching and Learning which provides leadership for all aspects of student achievement.
