SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Crews worked quickly to contain three fires that were burning burning north of Spokane on Sunday.

The road is partially blocked and drivers should find another route. 

According to DNR Spokesman Guy Gifford, crews are responding to three fires north of Spokane, with the largest as of 3:14 p.m. located at North Monroe Road and Highway 395.

The Washington Department of Transportation tweeted out that a brush fire at Highway 395 and Denison Chattaroy Road near the northbound lane of the road. WSDOT asked that drivers give emergency crews space to work.
