PULLMAN, Wash. – Washington State University’s College Republicans will host an information table aimed at “raising awareness of the issues and dangers presented by illegal immigration to the United States,” according to the group.

The “Stop the Caravan: Illegal Immigration Info Table” event begins at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, April 25 at Glenn Terrell Friendship Mall.

The group wrote this on the Facebook event description:

“Illegal immigration is a threat to Americans' physical and economic safety, with illegal aliens committing a disproportionate amount of crimes and having a disastrous effect on Americans' wages.

Additionally, this table is designed to raise awareness of the approximately ~1500 illegal aliens currently making their way towards the U.S. border, a threat credible enough that President Trump has deployed the National Guard in response.”

WSU's chapter received media attention when president James Allsup resigned from his presidency back in August after he attended the “Unite the Right” rally that turned violent in Charlottesville. He was ousted from the position.
