PULLMAN, Wash. — Some clever editing on behalf of the University of Idaho and Washington State University School of Food Science created a cheesy eclipse photo.

The photo was originally posted just before the eclipse by the School of Food Science UI WSU Facebook and said “See, the moon isn’t made of cheese… it’s made of Cougar Gold Cheese.”

The WSU Facebook page shared the photo after the eclipse ended and said “Did you know the moon is made out of Cougar Gold Cheese? It was on full display during today’s solar eclipse.”

Cougar Gold is a cheese made by the WSU Creamery. According to their website, Cougar Gold is the most popular cheese made at the creamery and has won multiple awards.
