SPOKANE, Wash.—A third suspect was arrested in the Bret Snow homicide investigation.

Spokane County Sheriff’s Office officials said Cheryl Sutton was already in custody at the Spokane County Jail on a U.S. Marshal Hold when she was booked on charges of First Degree Murder, Leading Organized Crime, Conspiracy to Commit First Degree Kidnapping and First Degree Kidnapping.

SCSO investigators said that information that was learned over the nearly two-year investigation led them to believe Sutton organized, managed, and directed several persons to engage in criminal activity for profit.

SCSO authorities said the activities listed above resulted in the kidnapping and murder of an associate, Bret Snow.

To date, Bret Snow’s remains have not been located, according to law enforcement.

SCSO officials asked anyone with information about this investigation or that could assist finding Snow’s remains to contact Major Crimes Detective Lyle Johnston at 509-477-3191.
