Sacred Heart Children's Hospital room turned into a mini-concert series for teen

15-year-old girl works to inspire others to never give up.

SPOKANE, Wash. – A Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital room turned into a concert on Tuesday in support of a 15-year-old girl with epilepsy.

Bianca Donatelli spends a few days at Sacred Heart Children's Hospital every couple of months for random testing related to her epilepsy.

On Tuesday, musicians from the Songs for Kids Foundation stopped by Bianca’s room. The group visits kids in hospitals throughout the country to perform mini concerts.

Bianca joined the group in singing Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believin.” Her mom said that song inspires them to never give up.

"I was so touched by it. Bianca is always singing and that's the thing I admire about her. She could be sad, but she's not. She's inspiring other people and she's positive,” Julie Donatelli said.

The pair works to spread awareness for epilepsy through Bianca’s YouTube channel. Her mom said she wants people to know despite having a disability, kids still deserve to be kids.
