Who doesn’t love some good fried chicken?
Well, Spokane is getting its first Popeyes Chicken restaurant!
The City of Spokane approved a permit for the restaurant at 6720 North Division Street back in October 2016. They are set to build a new restaurant on the site.
The address listed on the permits is the same for the Sportsman's Warehouse, which is still open. But, there is an empty lot located right next to it that is fenced off.
Popeyes sells spicy and mild fried chicken, seafood, sandwiches, wraps as well as Cajun-influenced side dishes.
Another Popeye’s opened in Post Falls back in October 2017. The grand opening apparently slowed traffic in the area.
No word yet on when the N. Division location will open.
