The school district is holding two meetings for community input on the changes to their elementary schools.

MEAD, Wash. –The Mead School District (MSD) is considering a proposal to change the boundaries for its eight elementary schools.

The last boundary change since 2007 and K-12 enrollment has increased by more than 700 students. All but one school would have their enrollment adjusted.

Under the new changes, five elementary schools (Brentwood, Farwell, Colbert, Meadowridge, Midway) would gain more students and two schools would get less (Evergreen and Prairie View (PV)). The boundary changes would not affect the enrollment at Shiloh Hills.

The biggest change would be at Prairie View where it would drop its enrollment by 193. All the schools would have around 550 to 600 students.
