We are dealing with hot temperatures in the Inland Northwest and a Washington teen is recovering in the hospital after a friend pushed her off a bridge. Here are five things you need to know today.

SPOKANE, Wash. — It's almost Friday! We are dealing with some extremely hot temperatures in the Inland Northwest. Here are five things you should know before you start your day.

The Inland Northwest is feelin’ hot, hot, hot!

Thursday is expected to be the hottest day of the year, with a high around 104 degrees. Spokane’s record for today’s date is 103 and it was set in 1898! The expected high temperature is the same for tomorrow.

An excessive heat warning is in place in our area, so be sure to stay hydrated.

The Seattle Seahawks preseason begins today.

The Hawks are facing the Indianapolis Colts in the first matchup of the summer tonight. You can see them play at 7 p.m.

A Southwest Washington teen is recovering in the hospital after a friend pushed her off a bridge near Moulton Falls.

Holgerson had plans to jump but then decided not to before her friend pushed her from behind.

It was all caught on camera.

The Oregon man charged with harassing Yellowstone bison will stay in jail until his trial.

A 55-year-old Oregon man who was arrested after causing disturbances in three national parks, including harassing a bison in Yellowstone, will remain jailed until his bench trial later this month.

He was arrested one week ago in Glacier Park.

Crocs is closing all of its company-owned manufacturing facilities.

The company’s Chief Financial Officer also resigned, according to reports on Crocs’ quarterly earning released earlier this week.

The shoe manufacturer said it already closed its Mexico facility and will close its last facility in Italy. Future manufacturing will be outsourced.
