Lifeline Espresso in Smelterville, Idaho, began what owner Tiffany Howard calls a "hydration party" on July 17.

SMELTERVILLE, Idaho – A Shoshone County business is bringing the community together to help firefighters.

Lifeline Espresso in Smelterville, Idaho, began what owner Tiffany Howard calls a “hydration party” on July 17. She said they are partnering with local businesses and other organizations to collect cases of water and Gatorade for Shoshone County fire districts.

Howard hopes to expand the efforts to fire stations across the Inland Northwest. For every case of water someone brings, they will receive an entry for a raffle basket. A case of Gatorade gets you two entries. If you buy a raffle ticket for $4, the proceeds will benefit purchasing more water. The raffle will end July 27 at noon and they will draw the winner at Lifeline Espresso. Raffle basket is valued at over $500. They included items from local businesses.
