SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane International Airport is seeing multiple departure delays on Sunday as the area sees the end of a winter storm that dropped multiple inches of snow and heavy winds.

As of 8:05 a.m. on Sunday, four departures were delayed and one was cancelled, according to the Spokane International Airport website.

An incoming flight from Seattle was also delayed, according to the website. Another incoming flight from Seattle was cancelled on Sunday.

Washington and north Idaho were hit with a winter storm over the weekend, causing heavy snowfall and winds in much of the area.

Tri-Cities Regional Airport closed Saturday afternoon due to severe conditions.
