OKANOGAN CO., Wash. -- The Okanogan River reopened Tuesday after flooding prompted the Okanogan County Sheriff's Office to order a closure. OCSO issued the closure on May 15.

Citizens are encouraged to go out and enjoy the Okanogan River, but are asked to be cautious of current conditions. Sheriff Frank Rogers warned the water is still dirty, cold and filled with debris.
