Sleep Country collecting coats for local foster youth

A pacific northwest retailer invests in the community by spearheading a program geared towards foster youth

Sleep Country USA is a mattress retailer with over sixty locations in the Pacific Northwest. The business wants to invest in the community that supports them.

Jarrett Tomalin, a Sleep Country USA representative, speaks with Livewell host Kelly Welsh about the Sleep Country Foster Kids program and their current coat drive.

"Foster youth oftentimes come into homes with only the clothes on their back, so your donation can truly make a difference," says Tomalin.

Tomalin says there are nearly twenty thousand foster youth in the northwest.

Sleep Country encourages customers to donate new or gently used coats at all Sleep Country USA retail locations. Groups may also hold their own coat drives with materials provided by Sleep Country USA.

Donate online or find the tools you need to hold your own coat drive at www.sleepcountryfosterkids.org
