LINCOLN COUNTY, Wash. — Washington State Patrol reports a fatal collision involving a 24-year-old male after his vehicle crossed the center line late Friday night.
WSP officials said Trenton Frye, 24, from Wilbur, was driving on Highway 2. Frye and his vehicle crossed the center line as he approached Sherman Draw Road, striking an oncoming vehicle. The WSP report said Frye’s vehicle rolled off the shoulder of the highway and into a ditch. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
WSP officials reported Frye was not wearing a seat belt.
The second vehicle was driven by Sidney Cole, 67. WSP officials said Cole was not injured and he was given a courtesy transport from the scene.
