Wings of Rescue to bring 90 shelter animals to Inland Northwest

The animals will arrive at the Coeur d’Alene airport at 2:30 p.m. from Lafayette, Louisiana.

COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — Wings of Rescue will fly 90 shelter cats and dogs to the Inland Northwest on Saturday.

The animals will arrive at the Coeur d’Alene airport at 2:30 p.m. from Lafayette, Louisiana. They will then be picked up by both the Kootenai Humane Society and Spokanimal.

More than 100 other shelter pets will also go to Seattle.

Many of the animals were at risk of being euthanized.

To date, Wings of Rescue has saved over 35,000 shelter pets.
