POST FALLS, Idaho — Post Falls Cub Scout Pack 250 spent part of Saturday morning place United States flags on the graves of fallen veterans in the Evergreen Cemetery in Post Falls.
According to Beth Hall, the pack's Cub Master, said that four first-graders, one third-grader and one fourth-grader placed about 100 flags total on Saturday morning. Hall said each child also had a sibling help them out.
"Our Cub Scouts love doing service in our community," Hall said. "It was really a sight to behold. The Scouts were very diligent about being sure every veteran had a flag."
The flags belong to Post Falls' American Legion chapter, Hall said. She also said it was the pack's first time placing the flags.
