COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho — The Coeur d'Alene Fire Department said its investigation into a fire at the Garden Motel on July 14 found it was human caused.

The building is located at Northwest Boulevard and Davidson Avenue.

Fire officials said the building is a total loss because of the extent of the damage. They said walls, the roof and flooring all collapsed in the fire.

Officials are asking anyone who may have seen something before the fire or has video or photographs of the fire to contact Coeur d'Alene Fire Department Prevention Division at 208-769-2245.
