At least five people were injured after a head-on crash in Grant County on Friday, according to Kyle Foreman with the Grant County Sheriff's Office.
Foreman said at least one person was critically injured in the crash on Road 5 Northwest between Road U and State Route 281. The road has since reopened.
At least several passengers have been taken to local hospitals, Foreman said.
Deputies were responding to another crash in the area when they witnessed the head-on collision.
Foreman said Road 5 Northwest is often icy during the winter months and those conditions contributed to the crashes.
This is a developing story.
