OROFINO, Idaho – A student at Orofino Jr/Sr High School was arrested Saturday night for threatening to do a school shooting.
Orofino Police said the arrest came after a three-week investigation into statements the student had made.
The student was charged with threatening violence on school grounds and was booked into the Juvenile Detention Center in Lewiston.
The Orofino Police Department is still actively investigating four different bomb threats that have occurred at the school in recent weeks. As of Monday, no charges have been filed in those cases.
