SPOKANE, Wash. — More than 50 firefighters are on scene for a brush fire off Highway 195 and Thorpe Road in Spokane Tuesday.
Reports of the fire came in Tuesday afternoon. Reports say hand crews have a line around 35 percent of the fire and part of it was burning on one side of Fish Trap Lake Trail.
Fish Lake Trail is open again. Spokane Fire and Parks Department previously closed Fish Lake Trail to allow for firefighting efforts.
Aircraft crews were previously on scene dropping water and the fire is knocked down.
