SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane police arrested two people for second-degree murder in relation to a body found at the Rodeway Inn.

Police responded to the motel on Friday afternoon after an employee found a dead female in a room, according to police.

Two men - 27-year-old Anthony Fuerte and 32-year-old Lionel White have been charged with second-degree murder in relation to the female's death.

Police first arrested Fuerte on Thursday after he allegedly was caught breaking into cars near Houston and Division, according to Spokane Police Sgt. Terry Preuninger. Fuerte was covered in blood and acted erratically when police contacted him, police said.

Although Fuerte had minor injuries, Preuninger said none of them would have produced the amount of blood on his body.

Fuerte was charged with first-degree robbery and car jacking for the car break-ins, according to Preuninger.

White was also wanted in Yakima County for another incident and was on possession of methamphetamine when police arrested him, according Preuninger. Police arrested White without incident at the Ruby Hotel, police said.
