WHAT:  Connection is hard right now and especially so for our local veterans.  The Spokane Veterans Home houses our local heroes who can’t connect in-person with friends and family right now due to COVID 19.  KREM 2 Valentines to Veterans is an effort to send some love to those who served.  Write a note or make a card for a local hero today.  Drop-off or mail cards to KREM 2, 4103 S. Regal, Spokane, WA. 99223 by February 10th.

WHEN:  Now-February 10th.  Cards must be delivered or dropped-off by February 10th in order to be delivered to the veterans by Valentine’s Day.  WHO:  Anyone can participate.  This is a fun project for the whole family.  Get your kids, school, church, business, or organization involved.  We ask that you not gather to make cards—but do them safely at home.

WHO:  This is for the Spokane Veteran’s Home located on the lower South Hill in Spokane, WA.  They have nearly 100 residents that have been isolated due to COVID-19.  We want to send our love.  We will accept as many cards as possible so that each veteran has lots to open on Valentine’s Day.

SHARE:  Show us your cards and send your love digitally by posting on your favorite social media site.  Make sure to tag @KREM or hashtag #VALENTINESTOVETERANS se we can see and share the love.
