Last day for free ice skating lessons at the Skate Ribbon in downtown Spokane

Lessons begin at 11 A.M. and 11:30 A.M. Skates and helmets are included.

SPOKANE, Wash. — Winter is slowly coming to an end but it's not to late to hit the ice! 

The Numerica Skate Ribbon in Riverfront Park downtown Spokane is offering free ice skating lessons today. 

There will be two sessions at 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. on Sunday, February 23.

The lessons are specifically developed for participants to learn basic skating skills and develop the ABC's of movement - agility, balance and coordination.

Experienced instructors will be teaching the free lesson. 

Skates and helmets are provided during lesson time.
