COEUR D’ALENE, Idaho—Calling all food and wine lovers in the Inland Northwest!
The Coeur d’Alene Resort will host its first annual Food and Wine Festival April 6 and April 7.
The festival will have food tastings from regionally renowned chefs and hands-on demonstrations.
The Coeur d'Alene Resort President, Bill Reagan said this is something he has been looking forward to for many years.
"I think our region has grown into great food and wine enthusiasts and will enjoy a weekend long celebration," said Reagan.
There will be cooking classes, a champagne brunch and even a six-course wine pairing dinner with Drew Bledsoe of Doubleback Winery.
The Coeur d'Alene Resort's executive chef, Rod Jessick said the event would be a great way to mix food and wine in the region.
"We are excited to team up with some of the best wineries in our area and create unique and forward-thinking food pairings for each of the five events during the Food & Wine Festival weekend," said Jessick.
Tickets for each event vary between $35 to $175 per person, or you could purchase a festival package for $249 per person.
