Where you can still get a Christmas tree near Spokane

We’ve called around to a bunch of farms to see who still has some available. This is what we found.

SPOKANE, Wash — Christmas trees are a hot commodity this year and many tree farms and lots are selling out fast.

We’ve called around to a bunch of farms to see who still has some available. 

Here’s a list of the tree farms and lots that have trees available.

Walter’s Fruit Ranch - 9807 East Day Road Mead, WA

As of Friday, Dec 4, they had 80 U-Cut trees left. All trees are $70. They are open Friday through Sunday.

Legacy Tree Farm – 10321 E Day Mt. Spokane Road Mead, WA

They will have pre-cut trees available from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5.

JD Ranch – 9420 E Greenbluff Road Colbert, WA

This weekend, the ranch will have $35 trees, according to the business’ voicemail. They’re open Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunset Orchard – 8110 E Greenbluff Road Colbert, WA

The farm has Grand Fir trees available until they run out, according to an employee. They also hot cider, cocoa, wreaths and holiday lights. They’re open daily 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. until Christmas Eve.

Camden Ranch – 1521 Willms Road Elk, WA

The ranch has three different types of trees: Grand firs, Blue Spruces and Concolor firs. All are U-Cut and $65 plus tax. The owner said they have a lot of trees available. They’re open Friday-Sunday 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Spokane Greenscape – 29th Avenue & Southeast Boulevard Spokane, WA

As of Friday, Dec. 4, an employee said they had 380 trees in stock. They range in price from $30 to $100 depending on the size and type. The owner said $2 from each tree purchase will go to the Union Gospel Mission. They open from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on weekends and during the week from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.

The Christmas Tree Guy - 5605 E. Sprague Ave. Spokane, WA

This lot sell farmed and wild trees. They have about 250 tree available as of Friday, Dec. 4. He has Alpine Firs and Grand Firs available. They range in price from $10-$12 a foot depending on the type of tree. The lot is open from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily.  

Cutting down a tree in a national forest

In Washington state, you can get a permit to cut down a tree in six different national forest. Permits cost $5 for most national forests and $10 for Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forests.
