Seahawks visit Sacred Heart Children's Hospital

SPOKANE, Wash. — A trio of Seahawks fan-favorites visited Sacred Heart Children’s Hospital on Tuesday to spread cheer around the holidays.

Former strong safety Kam Chancellor and fellow defenders and twin brothers Shaquem and Shaquill Griffin toured a floor of the hospital and greeted children and their families.

“It’s bigger than football,” said Chancellor of the visit. All three players noted the importance of visiting with younger fans – especially those who may be spending Christmas at the hospital.

The mid-week trip to Spokane occurred as the Seahawks prepare for a Sunday night matchup at home against Kansas City.

According to Sacred Heart staff, the visit was sponsored by Erik Anderson and Dr. Deborah Adams Anderson who are philanthropists and friends of the Providence Health Care Foundation.
