COEUR D'ALENE, Idaho – The first winner of KREM 2 and Spokane Teacher's Credit Union's Credit 2 Kids for 2015 was surprised on Tuesday during a class assembly.
Dominic Conigliaro from Lake City High School in Coeur d'Alene was named a winner thanks to nominations from his peers and others around the community. As a result of his win, Lake City High School received a check for $500 and are entered into the grand prize drawing of $5,000.
KREM 2 and STCU puts on Credit 2 Kids every school year to showcase kids who are making a positive impact in their community.
KREM 2's Laura Papetti was on hand Tuesday to surprise Dominic. His parents were there as well.
