It’s that time of the month. First Friday celebrates the local arts and music scene. We’ll be at Locust Cider tasting room at 421 W Main where artist Kyle Carpino’s works will be on display. He’s also a tattoo artist for Anchored Art Tattoo. Each month a special poster is designed by a local artist. Pick up your free poster at the Visit Spokane Visitor Information Center in Riverfront Park!

Gather with good friends or your special valentine and enjoy a sweet start to your Valentine’s Day activities. Join food historian and college faculty member Monica Stenzel and participate in this yummy and informative class on the history of chocolate, from Aztec hot chocolate to American chocolate bunnies. Afterward, enjoy a glass of wine (21 and over) and a sampling of chocolates or candies from Spokane’s own Halletts Chocolates! $30

Masterworks 6: Music for Valentine’s Day

The Spokane Symphony celebrates two influential French composers, Ravel and Debussey. There’s a pre-concert talk one hour before the performance. Guest artist and trumpeter Allen Vizzutti will join the symphony. He was born and raised in Missoula, so he’s practically a hometown guy!
