Sara Roth is the Digital Director at KREM2 News. She was most recently the Digital Investigative Reporter for KGW in Portland, Oregon, where she produced multi-platform longform investigations. Prior to joining KGW, Sara was a staff writer at The Source Weekly newspaper in Bend, Ore. and a writer, editor and marketing director at Resource Magazine in New York City.
Sara received her bachelor's degree in English and creative writing from Bucknell University and master's degree in multimedia journalism from the University of Oregon.
Sara’s investigative work has been nominated for a regional Emmy award and has won several other awards, including NW Excellence in Journalism awards from the Society of Professional Journalists, regional Edward R. Murrow awards and recognition from the Oregon Association for Broadcasting and AP Television and Radio Association.
