Kyle Simchuk joined the KREM 2 News team as a multi-skilled journalist in October 2021.
He is a graduate of Washington State University and worked as a reporter at Spokane's ABC affiliate for three-and-a-half years before his time at KREM 2.
Kyle grew up in the small town of Clinton, Washington, on South Whidbey Island, but his family has deep roots in the Lilac City. His grandfather owned and operated Simchuk Sporting Goods in Spokane beginning in the 1940s.
Outside of work, Kyle likes to go skiing and cook dinner for friends and family. He also enjoys crabbing and salmon fishing back home.
