I am a female music student at EWU. I was walking out to my car one evening in a particularly grumpy mood because I had not felt I performed my music well that day, when I looked up and saw the sun setting right behind My Flag. I was instantly ashamed of my mood and realized how fortunate I was that I lived in a country where many generations had fought and died for my right to pursue a career as a female musician at a University. I am so fortunate and now I have these photos too remind me of what a wonderful country I live in. Freedom Forever. Happy Memorial Day.
