health and welfare has this rule that family first and grandparents have no rights in idaho. When A child is taken away the the family mother orfather has a year in which to fly right. If you are not the parents you dont have any time. The health and welfare makes you become foster parents and live by there rules, When the year id up youare not always given the child just because your family. Another foster family can step in. Didn't know that well neithe did I.
My story goes like this My Nephew and his grirlfriend are into drugs and everything. So when they first had there little boy my family and i steped in. This had been for 2 years OF HIS LIFE. so when they had another child and drugs was ammited at the hospital then casa and the health and welfare steped in good huh but no they took the child i had had since coming home from the hospiotal then i had to take classes and become foster parent to takr care of this child like i had from the beginning. nice huh.
so anyways i become a fasterparents tryed to get the parents to fly right no go there. But wait the year is up i get to keep him right im family took care of him and everything right nope i am a good babysitter but i cant have him. the other foster parents get my baby too they got the baby because of drugs and sinse the year is up they bonded with him they get both children. question that i have is i have bonded love this one child for almost 3 years is my bond not enough.
idaho is not for family to have children so if you a foster parent hoping to get a realtive please hire an attonery now bwcause health and welfare will not give you the chanse to have you family
