Swede Bay is on the west side of Lake Coeur d'Alene. The island is Tunnel Island because there is a tunnel underneath. At low water levels in the winter you can see light through the tunnel. Locall residents call the island Little America. Picture taken January 16, 2013 at 2 PM. I took the picture from my deck with 12X optical zoom, looking southeast.
