"There's a moose in the neighbor's yard!" the shout went up at 7:30pm on 7/20/12. We approached cautiously and sure enough, there was a female moose, 6 ft at the shoulder, grazing in Redcloud Court of northwest Spokane. She seemed a bit confused, trying out the back yard for a while, and got more nervous as the crowd grew and the homeowner's minivan drove up. Everyone waited politely until the moose decided to move on--heading across the grass, she loped around the corner and up the hill toward the ridge. Current location... unknown!
