Timberlake Fire Protection District responded to a boater in distress on Lake Pend orielle near Lakeview in Bonner County. Firefighters responded and rescued 8 people and 3 dogs from a partially submerged vessel. All passengers and dogs were okay but were exposed to the elements during storm. 5 passengers and 1 dog were assisted to Timberlake Fires fire boat while the remaining passengers were assisted by the Navy acoustic Research center boats and transported to Bayview.
