On June 25th, Jackie Gleason, suffered a major brain anuersym when training for a triathlon at Whitworth Pool. Jackie was taken to two area hospitals before being flown to Harborview Medical center. Jackie is an avid supporter of her step son's,Steve Gleason, TeamGleason charity and the fight against ALS. Her anuerysm occurred on the same day as Steve's charity golf tournament at Black Rock. Jackie is a teacher in the Medical Lake School District. She is a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher, and friend to so many in the Medical Lake and Spokane area. On August 1st at 6 pm we will having a "Jackie Gleason Benefit Walk" to help raise money to support her family as now Jackie fights for her life. Jackie's has a strong faith in God and believes in miracles. She is an amazing woman! Please help us in getting Jackie's story out.
