What?: You are all invited to Coeur d'Alene School District 271 Award Winning Annual 8th grade Civil War Artillery Simulation (Cooperative-learning Lesson Centered around a Theatrical Air-Cannon) Where?: held at Lakes Middle School on Friday May 25th 2012 or for the first time ever at Central Valley School District's North Pines Middle School on May 30th 2012. When?:From 8am - 2:30pm. Who?: Simulation Designed By Substitute Teacher Donald Delcambre, with the assistance of Master Teachers: Becky Smith of Lakes Middle School, Tony Cox of Canfield Middle, and Chad Odenthal of Woodland Middle. Why?: Due to the non-existence of Civil War Battlefields in the Pacific Northwest, which students across country enjoy visiting regularly as part of their U.S. History classes, This Non-Profit hand's-on lesson was created to help history come alive for middle school age children.
