My mom(Betty Smith) and my husband's mom(Verna Parsons) have been mothers, grandmothers and greatgrandmothers for a very long time. They both are celebrating their 86th birthdays and 64th and 65th Mother's Day this month with-in a week of one another, my mom being a week older than my mother-in-law. They both grew up on wheat farms, married farmers and outlived their husbands. They have both retired and moved from the farms but you can not take the "farmer" out of either one of them! Betty has 2 children, 5 grandchildren(1 passed away) and 7 great-grandchildren. Verna has 3 children, 3 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Congratulations to them both!
