The sun was setting, with a pink tinge in the sky, yet most of the sky was still a dull grey from the snow clouds overhead all day. The tallest trees, flocked with heavy snow, gleamed a vivid pink in the closing light of our winter's day. The back side of the one tree is bare while the the side toward the sun is covered with snow, showing how hard it snowed from one direction. These were taken on Saturday evening, 5:30 on the north side of Spokane.
