I went rode with my husband today while he was working and breaking ice in the ditch. The water from Sweat Creek merges with Little Loop and Loop Loop Creeks which then flows into Leader Lake. It supplies irrigation water to the residents of Pleasant Valley West of Okanogan along Hwy 20 and a major apple/cherry/pear grower just above the Malott/Okanogan areas.
