These are photos from 2009, which is the first year that we lived in Spokane. That year was a strange year that provided new adventures and a new love. My son and I lived in Atlanta, GA and never even thought about moving. However, that changed when a man that I had not talked to in seventeen years appeared on myspace. He lived in Spokane with his son and professed his love that he always had for me, and decided that he would not pass up another opportunity. After months of discussions and long distance "dating" I made the decision that would change not only my life but my son's also. In July of 2009 my future husband to be, David took a one way flight to Atlanta. Two days later, myself, David, my 10 month old son Caleb, and my 4 year old Jack Russell, Bailey drove our Budget truck towing my jeep and started our adventure across the country to our new life in Spokane, WA. I left the life I had always known, my friends, and my family and took a chance on love. Just like the trip across the country there have been many bumps in the road but we are about to celebrate our second anniversary. The city of Spokane has changed my life for the better.
