The power went out about 11:30 pm on February 3rd, 2011. We at first thought it was an electrical problem because our kitchen still had power but nothing else in our one bedroom apartment did. We went down the get a hold of the landlord of the Broadmoor apartments at around midnight. The elevator was down, most of the first floor was dark, and people were coming out of their apartments wondering if they had electrical problems too. A call to Avista utilities was placed shortly after and they told us that they were working to fix the problem and about 352 residents in the area had some sort of power outage. power was turned on two or three hours later I'm not sure exactly when I was sleeping. Just thought it was strange wondering if it had something to do with the big power outage three days earlier.
